How to Use Bank Card Safely
Written by: smm
We have recently explored the advantages of using bank cards. Today, we are going to share with you a couple of golden rules for safe bank card usage to help you keep your money safe from scammers:
— Keep your PIN code separate from the card or its number. Don’t write it down next to the card number in a notepad or on your phone. And obviously, never write it on the card itself.
— If your bank lets you change your PIN code, try not to use simple combinations, e.g. the date of your birthday or the last digits of your phone number.
— Never show or share your PIN code with anybody else. Keep in mind that neither seller nor the bank or support desk employee will ask you to provide it. If someone requests your PIN code, it’s safe to say that you are dealing with scammers.
— Memorize or have contact details of your bank’s support desk at the ready so that you can promptly contact it if needed. Your time is your money.
